Easy Summer Cucumber Salad Diet Recipe


Hi friends, today's recipe is best in diet. This is quite easy to make and very filling. This salad is very refreshing and coolant to your body. This salad needs very few ingredients and tastes great and filling.
I love salads and You may also find other  salad recipe in this blog; I have shared summer berry salad, ABC salad, Russian salad and many more.

serves:1-2

1 cup:250 ml
1 tablespoon: 15ml
1 teaspoon:5ml

Ingredients
Cucumber: 2 cups small chunks
Cheery Tomato: 1/2 cup
Red Onion: 1 small
Coriander : 1/4 cup chopped
Lemon: 1/2
Salt to taste
Chilli Flakes to taste
Black Pepper to taste 
Olive oil : 1 tBSP



Directions

Chop the veggies.
In a large bowl add all the ingredients and mix well.
Enjoy this as lunch or dinner or as aside dish.

Oats Dosa | No rice No feremtation Instant Dosa Recipe | Healthy Breakfast recipe | Flavour Diary



Hi friends, today's recipe is quick easy and instant healthy breakfast with Oats. The best part of this recipe is there is no rice or  needs no fermentation.This is one go to recipe for a lazy day. This recipe makes 6-8 dosa's pancakes and this can be enjoyed with chutney or podi or sambar.

Level: Easy
Makes: 6+ Dosa
1 cup: 250ml
1 tablespoon(TBS): 15ml
1 teaspoon(tsp): 5 ml

Ingredients

Quick Oats -1 cup
Semolina (suji) - 1/2
Yogurt: 3/4 cup
Ginger : 2 inch
Green Chillies: 2 
Onion: 1/4 finely chopped 
Cumin seeds: 1/2 tsp
coriander: 3 TBSP finely chopped
Water as required
Salt to taste
 Oil  for drizzling on dosa


Directions

In a blender add oats, semolina and blend to fine powder.
Then add ginger, green chillies, yogurt ,salt, cumin and little water and blend it to smooth paste.
Add little water to the blender and clean it and pour it in dosa batter.
Now add onion, coriander and mix well and keep it aside for 10mins.
After 10 mins, add water (optional) for dosa batter consistency
Heat the pan and add a ladle full of batter and then spread as pancake. Cook on both sides until golden brown and take it out. 
Serve hot with chutney or sambar.

Avocado Black Bean Cucumber Salad recipe

 Today's recipe is ABC Salad, a salad which is creamy and full of proteins and completely vegan and dairy free. After my ABC soup i was eager to try on some ABC recipe with different ingredients  and now here is my ABC salad which is a combo of Avocado, Black Beans and Cucumber...Check out detail ingredients and direction to make an easy peasy salad which is colorful, yummy and healthy....
Few Facts about Black Beans (reference from here)

  • The iron, phosphorous, calcium, magnesium, manganese, copper, and zinc in black beans all contribute to building and maintaining bone structure and strength.
  • Black beans contain quercetin and saponins which can protect the heart
  • Because of their fiber content, black beans help to prevent constipation and promote regularity for a healthy digestive tract. 
  • Selenium is a mineral that is not present in most fruits and vegetables but can be found in black beans. It plays a role in liver enzyme function and helps detoxify some cancer-causing compounds in the body.

1 cup:250 ml
1 tablespoon: 15ml
1 teaspoon:5ml

Ingredients

Avocado Chopped : 1 cup (1 big avocado)
Black Bean canned/boiled: 1 Cup( i used canned beans, drained and Washed)
Cucumber Chopped: 1 cup 
Corn canned/frozen/fresh: 1/2 cup ( used frozen)
Tomato chopped: 1/2 cup
Chopped Coriander: 2 tablespoons
Onion Chopped: 1 tablespoon
Dressing:
Lime/lemon: 1 
Olive /sunflowe oil: 1 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Red Chilli Powder/ Black pepper powder to taste

Directions
  • Mix all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and then add dressing to taste and enjoy.
Tips
  • Avocado should be rippen when used.
  • If you don't find black beans then you can replace it with your choice of beans.

Today's smoothie is having a goodness of spinach and strawberry...don't worry about spinach, you don't even taste spinach...smoothie has a hint of ginger and sweetness comes from banana and dates, Which makes it more delicious and healthy and filling. You can add yogurt or any fruit juice instead of water and ice cubes...enjoy the taste along with health.

Water: 1/2 cup
Ice Cubes: 1/2 cup(replace with water if required)

Directions

Put everything in the blender and blend to smooth and serve with a strawberry.
