Hi Friends, today's recipe is simple chutney made with coconut and is best with any south Indian breakfasts like idli, dosa, appam. Coconut Chutney is very easy to make and needs very ingredients. This chutney is made in no time with less effort.

Serves: 2-3
1 teaspoon(tsp): 5 ml
1 tablespoon(TBSP): 15ml
1 cup: 250ml
Ingredients
Fresh Coconut: 1/2 cup chunks (1/2 coconut)
Roasted Gram(chana): 1/4 cup
Coriander: 2 TBSP (chopped)
Ginger: 1 inch
Green Chilli: 2 cut(to taste)
Salt to taste
Water: 1/2 cup
Tadka
Oil: 1 TBSP
Mustard Seeds: 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds: 1/2 tsp
Curry Leaves: few
Red Chilli: 1 cut
Roasted Gram(chana): 1/4 cup
Coriander: 2 TBSP (chopped)
Ginger: 1 inch
Green Chilli: 2 cut(to taste)
Salt to taste
Water: 1/2 cup
Tadka
Oil: 1 TBSP
Mustard Seeds: 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds: 1/2 tsp
Curry Leaves: few
Red Chilli: 1 cut
Directions
In a blender add Fresh Coconut, Roasted Gram, Coriander, Ginger, Green Chilli, Salt and Water , blend into smooth texture. Don't over blend otherwise fat will separate.
In another pan add oil, once oil is hot add mustard seeds . Once seeds start popping add cumin seeds,curry leaves and red chilli and fry for 20secs and turn off.
Now add the tadka to the chutney.
Enjoy this chuney with idli, dosa, upma or with any south indian breakfast.
